Shri. Venkataraman has been teaching yoga for over 42 years. He is the founder of the Patanjali Yoga and Healing Centre and Patanjali Ramana Trust in Chennai, India. He has been conferred the “Yoga Shiromany” for his dedication and service to yoga. He formally practiced yoga at the Annamalai University. For Shri Venkatraman, yoga is a way of life rather than a practice or an exercise. He has cured hundreds of patients with chronic illnesses (e.g. heart block, disc prolapse, lung congestion etc.) and is often called upon to guide patients on seemingly unsolvable medical issues related to the mind and body.
